In other words, they're trying to make back some of the revenue they're missing out on, but they're doing it on the backs of citizens that they won't let go to work.

Someone has to pay her back taxes, and it ain't ghana be her
Posted on 10/22/20 at 3:13 pm to JS87
And I would simply not pay it
Without an actually legal enforcement angle for it there is nothing to be done and no one is going to care anywhere else.
No mask wearing should be the routine moving forward there as a frick you.

The IRS should make her payoff her tax bill the same way.
She could clean up the whole city with all the back taxes that she owes.

She’s putting NOPD more at risk by enforcing the dumbass rule.

This sounds like indentured servitude. Is that even legal?
"Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction."- Section 1 of the 13th Amendment.
Actually would love to see that challenged on a Constitutional basis. Can't imagine the last time SCOTUS had to look into the 13th Amendment.
