The State Senator representing much of the BR metro area is also a chemtrail conspiracy theorist.

Jesus that’s my state rep.
I’m going to move out of this state. Can’t fix education. Can’t have working roads and bridges. Can’t fix the insurance crisis. Can’t lower taxes. But banning a fake Facebook driven crisis? On it.

How in the world are we being governed by so many crazy people?
Because way too many people, myself included, don’t do our due diligence in investigating the candidates and issues in local elections

I got one better for you. I have known her for 30-40 years. She grew up and lives right down the road from her cousins that I have been life long close personal friends with.
I got a call this morning from a friend out of state asking about my crazy state rep. ( I had not seen this thread or the story about this )
I have held off commenting all morning because I am complete stunned and baffled. I still don't know what say about all of this. The person she appears to be with all of this is not the same person I have known for years.

Whoa let’s not be hasty here.
If they have tech that would lower the intensity of a hurricane do we really want legislation that would prevent us using it over the gulf?
Think about the impact on insurance rates if the technology exists and could be used to do good.

We are truly governed by idiots! Legislators should at least have to pass a basic competency test to be able to serve. I mean damn, we’re going to elect Corky types next.

The republican sounds like a crazy person with no real evidence to back up her claims and the democrat is asking sensible questions and getting crackpot answers.
