why are we picking on bars?

According to TH03 it's a FACT you can only spread this indoors

Never would it happen from all the protests and everyone all over each other cause they are outside

And SoCal holding strong

People are more bunched up together in a bar and there for a longer period of time than shopping at Lowe’s. This increases their chance of exposure if say...the guy sitting at the bar next to them has COVID and won’t show symptoms until the next day (you are pretty infectious to others 48 hours prior to the start of your symptoms).

Also bars are smaller spaces than a wide open massive box store.

Plus drinking loosens up precautions - Things like minimally touching your own face, etc... likely going out the window.

How do you reorder bars to close when they were never reopened in the first place?

Who cares. Go out and enjoy living your life. Don't let a mild virus going around cause you to live in fear.

And then there will be another big spike once they come out of lockdown...

We won’t be able to “ wait “ this out...

It’s what failed with the first lockdown.. it’s still gonna be here whenever we re-emerge out

This is like some poor directional school getting the death penalty, because Carolina cheated.

Localized shut downs in known hotspots at bars is arguably the tamest shutdowns and what should have been done in the first place, if any shutdown was enacted.

But now people are seeing that young people are not going to the hospital so who gives a shite about raw numbers.

With the exception of L.A. County, all the other counties being ordered to close their bars are overwhelmingly rural, agricultural counties in the San Joaquin Valley.
