Baws, I think I may have injured myself. I haven't eaten like that since this time last year....and I'm not even to desert yet.

I'm a very family-oriented person. For me, there's no such thing as spending too much time around family. I view my in-laws the same way. Even though it's only been 5 years, I'm as close to my in-laws as I am my own blood family.

This is kind of how I am. I like my in-laws more than my family.

No drama as usual yet today. My son caught a rat in his cage trap and I had to talk him out of wanting to set it out in the driveway to scare his grandma. Worst thing so far.
My dad will eat until you will think he's about to burst and then eat some more. That is about the worst thing I deal with.

Just checking in. Our eat time was supposed to be 2:30. But we have a strict rule that nobody eats until everyone has arrived.

One of my cousins just called and said he just woke up. He lives an hour away. Looks like we won't be eating til 4 or 5.

This happens every year. I love being black

My cousin (female, no pics) got into a fight at a bar recently and got beat up pretty badly. She told my sister about it and told her not to tell anyone, especially our grandmother, who would freak the frick out.

Anyway, my idiot sister slips up and tells me about what happened to said cousin. Our nosey uncle (pics available) overhears our conversation and proceeds to tell our grandmother….who then started to freak the frick out. Theres now drama between my sister and uncle.

I’m just sitting back here laughing

That's a pretty awesome question. Old man has power moves.

Congrats on coming out to TD, btw.

Arrived at my mom's house to the news that my uncle (her brother) died late last night. Family drama amongst my mom's siblings has caused a falling out & divide that pitted brothers against sisters. She hadn't seen this brother in over 7 years. My mom is a bit shook up.

He led a hard life but turned things around when grandkids came into the picture. He was a down-to-earth Mainer who loved to hunt, fish, and help out others. We will all miss him and have his family in our thoughts today on Thanksgiving.

Thanks. I understand. You don't really think about people dying in holidays until it happens. Unfortunately now my cousins and their kids will not remember Thanksgiving in a different way from now on.

My wife's crazy arse aunt

Sat next to crazy aunt at Thanksgiving lunch @ Country Club. Rather tame but she did tell me a couple nights ago she ate a couple gummies and marinated in the hot tub while cooking a chicken cordon bleu in the air fryer. Wife's uncle came home and found a burnt arse chicken puck in the air fryer and she doesnt know how long she was in the hot tub but long enough for a bottle of wine. She said she still had some gumbies left over and would be bringing them to the grandparents big house for football this evening.

First world problem:
I've eaten turkey, shrimp stuffed Mirliton, Oyster dressing, bacon mashed potatoes, andouille and jalapeño Mac and cheese, Italian green bean and artichoke casserole, smoked ham and spinach Madeline. I've also had 2 bottles of wine and an old fashioned.

I'm tired, how long can I wait until I boil the turkey carcass to make stock for gumbo? I'm tired and looking to take a nap.

Oh and all of my guests' dogs are pissing on my wife's silk curtains.

We're playing bags and in this setup, a bag just landed in the pool, as part of a serious throw.

I had actually said about 2 minutes earlier, jokingly, that it wouldn't surprise me if a bag landed in the pool.
