Heading up to my dad’s house. He just told me my stepmom’s sister will be there. My dad is a vet and the guy who shares every Trump related thing on Facebook. Stepmom’s sister is a liberal who dressed up as a pussy to fight for womens rights. I’ll keep y’all posted.

My 7 year old son hating on the parade with me this year while my wife and 5 yo girl were into it.
I died laughing when he broke out with “Chase eats his boogers” to my girl who is huge into paw patrol.
Just us 4 this year as usual. The Turkey is smoking and sides are made. About to break out the bourbon. We’ll have dessert with our neighbors which is something we do every year.

As I've gotten older I've found this to be true. Everyone gets stressed out around the holidays trying to make things "perfect" for everyone and it never happens. Something always goes wrong. And that's the stuff we remember. As time gets farther from the event, most of it just becomes a funny story....

I’m heading out directly to do thanksgiving with family and friends from Cameroon after they lost their World Cup match this morning on an own goal. High likelihood I get myself booted from the festivities.
