He isn’t a big Jeep fan though

Calls them the pugs of the road (Butters kinda acts like a grumpy old dick towards him sometimes..to be fair…he does that to many people now in his old age)

Thanks for your service.

Also, I hope you feel better soon.

I missed a couple of holidays back in the day due to work commitments.

I don’t really have much to add to this thread.

Suppose I am thankful for not having all this crazy shite going on in my life, but likewise just as thankful for you baws relaying this misery so the TD community can get some good laughs on the holiday.

Update.
Why everytime I sit down with a drink, my kids or wife wines that they need something and it's always the husband to get it?

My best friends wife found this place that takes pet pics and puts them in famous garb on canvas. They have a pic of their Pomsky as Jon Snow and she got my wife a pic of our English Bulldog as Sherlock Holmes

I’ve seen those! They are awesome!

I should get one of Butters as some admiral from the late 1800s

Same here. I would bitch about my sister in law insisting on having the same shitty food every year rather than trying new better things (while I see the text thread from my family in BR with all the awesome things they're fixing/eating). But that seems petty at this point .

Show up to my in laws to fry two turkeys. FIL can’t find his pot. BIL headed to Rouses to see if they have one. If not, guess there won’t be any turkey on the menu.

Not dramatic, but about to head over to brother-in-law's for the annual Thanksgiving stare down.
I have absolutely nothing in common with the men on her side of the family since their entire existence revolves around deer hunting. I don't hunt (only because the few times I've gone out it was fruitless and boring).[downvotes expected] Since the small talk can only take up so many minutes, the rest of the time I sit there with a blank stare and basically remain silent. I've made efforts to be more social, and so have they, but it never works for more than 2 minutes.

Anyhow, as an American, I expect to watch NFL on Thanksgiving and not happy if that doesn't happen. The very first year I went to this shindig I requested they put football on and they obliged, and then commenced with the complaints and comments. One that I recall was, and I quote: "so you enjoy watching a bunch of grown men roll around on the ground together?" That was from brother-in-law's wife's father, whom I had just met 5 minutes earlier (and he wasn't joking).
Last year they had turkey hunting videos playing the entire time and I didn't bother asking for football since its their house and Im the only one who wants to watch it..

So yeah, hopefully I only have to miss the first game and this visit doesn't eat into the 2nd...

My mom bought me a table top Turkey fryer a few years ago. It’s awesome. Only drawback is the biggest Turkey you can do is about 13 lbs.
