Jesus Christ I wish I could have been a frat rush coach. Everyday we’ll pound a case of beer, drink 1/5th of liquor, smoke some blunts, and do 8 balls to prepare for frat life.

Pretty disappointing to have money to pay out of state tuition and a sorority coach and send ur kid to ole miss or auburn.

A FIJI, DKE, KA Psi, or Q Dog rush coach would have to teach them how to get hazed and not show it. At least until they get their brand.

honest answer is about 20 years ago when they got good in football again.
No I'm not being facetious, look it up. Once they turned into a dominant powerhouse again they became the cool school for yankees to escape to and cosplay as a cowgirl for a few years. There is a shocking amount of current students from the north and west.

LSU has their fair share, as well. This ramped up after Covid and Alabama Rush Tok. I'm not kidding. I guess kids up north decided having fun in college might actually be a good thing.

I know Saban definitely had a huge impact on enrollment but for some reason it seems like Alabama leads the way when it comes to girls who clearly were not raised in the South.

That, and Bama is good about throwing a ton of scholarship money to kids who couldn’t quite get into a top-tier state flagship or similar private school.

they had kind of the perfect confluence of factors to make them the go-to
-The mississippi schools and clemson are probably viewed by northers are too podunk/backwoods
-Places like vandy , UF, and UGA had too high entrance requirements for the "i just wanna go out of state and party" crowd to get into
-places like kentucky or SC probably don't even really register with people up north
-auburn is probably considered too lame
so that pretty much leaves bama and maybe tennessee. I haven't looked at TN's out of state numbers recnetly but I wouldn't be surprised if they've seen a big influx lately as well.

LSU has picked up a lot of those kids as well. Bama, Ole Miss, Tennessee, LSU
