Yeah, getting on the Huey P going back towards Elmwood there's a cop sitting right before the bridge daily shooting radar

Yeah I pass him every day too but I’ve never seen them pull anyone over. Same goes for the cop sitting at the split late at night. They’ve been in that same spot for years

wow what an amazing journey, tell us more.

It was actually Knoxville, TN to Knoxville, AL and back. I don't recall seeing any TN troopers out, but did see a few in Alabama. There was diddlyfrick for traffic, even through Birmingham and Chattanooga, so I just set the cruise at 77 or so and went for miles without having to tap the brakes or change lanes.

Leniency has been the word tossed around in meetings by a few troopers who live in my neighborhood. Anything 15 and under gets a free pass unless its reckless. That's directly from a troopers mouth.

BR police as of a few days ago still hadn't provided forehead thermometers to its officers. Thy ain't pulling over shite until they do.

I don't possibly see any way a cop in the dark walking up to a car and pointing something at the driver's forehead could possibly go wrong.

I just flash my 'essential paper' through the window and they get the hell out of my way.

I don't know about the dark, but those dudes don't want to bring that shite home anymore than you.

I drive nightly from Kenner to Gonzales. I think it was Wednesday night, I didn’t see anyone going westbound for at least 1 1/2 to 2 miles. I put the Cruise on around 70 on the spillway and 75 mph the rest of the way.

The cops in Lafayette almost never run radar. Sometimes I will pick up a Lafayette Sheriff with his radar on. I ran an errand the other evening in record time.

Also went on a drive the other day throughout St. Martin Parish and I might have seen one cop and he wasn't running radar.

There was a local boy set up in the lovely village of Tangipahoa in the parking lot of the old Mr. Boo’s when I came through there around noon.

Traffic is light so it’s pretty great

That is the only positive in this mess.

Thieves that hide behind a worthless badge that their uncle/cousin gave them can no longer rob and steal.

ETA : talking about notorious speed traps.
