He wouldn’t know how.
There are over 200k registered users here, but let's assume that with all the alters and posters who have already passed over the years, that there are only 20k regular users. There have so far been 2,491 covid deaths in Louisiana, and the population is roughly 4.6 million. That means 0.054% of the state has died of covid, so the probability that a random poster has NOT died of covid is 0.99946, or 99.946%. We raise 0.99946 to the power of 20,000, and we get probability 0.00002034 (0.002%) that none of those people died of covid.
Stated another way, there is a 99.998% chance that at least 1 regular TD user has died of covid. And that's just the users themselves. If we are talking about people that the users KNOW, then the 20k jumps to 40k at a minimum. That's just if we each know 1 unique other person of the hundreds that we surely each know. That drops the probability down to .0000000004 (0.00000004%) that none of us knows a person who has died of covid.
Again, stated another way, there is a 99.99999996% chance that at least one of us here knows someone who has died of covid. Very conservatively.

Co-worker mid 40s a little overweight. Was sick. But recovered.
Stepmom's brother had it as well. 60 years old. Little overweight. Got a little sick but recovered quickly.

This is way too fricking complicated. In a nutshell: Was she hot? And if so, do you have pics to attach? If not, then frick off.

Are you some kind of stupid?
Population of Louisiana= 4,660,000
Confirmed cases per today’s LDH=34,432
So roughly 1 in 136 people tested positive. How hard is it to comprehend people know someone who tested positive? Particularly seeing as those who know someone are more likely to respond in a thread asking whether you know someone than folks who don’t.
For some reason you’re hung up on knowing people who died from it. Clearly reading comprehension isn’t one of your skills. Which of course is kind of concerning when you deal with numbers like you do,

I tested positive for it. I believe I had it in late March, but didn't take the test until early May (I was already well into recovery). I had body aches, fever, labored breathing, headache, chills. Typical sick symptoms. For about two days. Then the weird thing is that it made me lose my sense of smell for about a month. Just came back last week.
That's it. No death sentence, no respirators, no hospital visit, just that.

I only know one person and they did not have any issues. To give you some perspective the company I work for has an international presence in 6 countries including the US. We have 14,000 employees across all locations and only 16 employees have gotten the virus and no deaths. This Is why I think this virus is overblown and being used for other means.

How long after you think you got it did you show symptoms?

Chris, my sig quote, Which I copied word for word, should show anyone on this site your mathematical ability. I still chuckle when I read it.
And you were dead serious.

It's hard to tell because the common symptoms of it just popped up suddenly in late March. I have been working normally as essential, so more than likely picked it up at work. I felt sick (mildly sick, not stay in my bed feeling like I'm about to die sick). I went to urgent care thinking it was just the typical sinus infection I usually get this time of year. She asked me questions, looked at me, said she didn't think it was Covid that it was more than likely just sinusitis. Didn't even offer to write orders to get me tested. Those symptoms lasted about two days and then went away. The loss of smell thing hung around for a month.

I've known 2 people. A buddy of mine, 38, good health, had a cough and body aches for close to a week. He never ran a fever. A friend of mine's stepmom, 52, all she had was a mild cough for about a week.

I don't anyone directly who has been sick with Covid-19.
We have had 10 deaths in our county; 8 of them were in nursing homes.

I know 3 people that got the virus. All three in their 80s, all are fully recovered, and did not require hospitalization
