A few posts have mentioned gym obsession or worrying about looking a certain way. Is there a benchmark for being obsessed? I try to exercise in general (run, bike, swim, lift weights) for one hour per day and every once in a while a friend may make a comment regarding "how often I work-out" or makes a joke about my diet (which isn't very strict). Is one hour of exercise per day and maybe cutting back on a few carbs here and there "being obsessed or caring too much"?

This is not shocking. Dad bods are often a sign of financial success and men that do not intimidate the women with such a high focus on self. They want a fling with a fit good looking guy, but that won’t provide security (financial or emotional).

relatively speaking, it is considered obsessive. The general public views anyone that attends the gym 3 or more times a week while also trying to eat moderately healthy, as an obsessive, conceited, borderline anorexic etc. behavior ….. in this sedentary arse world we live in, it’s kind of sad how doing the bare minimum even, is viewed by a shite ton of people.
