you used to be able to cheer as loud as you wanted at astros games and there was no one around to bother. now all the lifelong fans are back and ruining the experience.

I can see how constant cheering could be annoy, but it’s a kid. Talk to the parents, or go drink a beer. If you bought her some ice cream it would buy you at least 10 min.

Was the purpose of recording the girl just to drum up publicity? Woman who yelled is a bitch, no doubt, but why record your sad daughter afterwards?

It actually looks like they just happened to be recording the girl cheering when the woman made the comment. It didn't look like they videoed the girl for the sole purpose of putting a sad video on Facebook.

Without watching the video, the woman who told the kid to knock it off is going to get excoriated.
That being said, I was at a football game in Dallas and a kid about that age directly behind me had two of those inflatable sticks you blow up and bang together. He banged them together the entire first quarter. Not when people were cheering, not during play, just banged them together rhythmically about a foot from my head for thirty minutes straight. The kid very well could have been autistic and the parents didn't do anything. I finally turned around and told him to stop. The parents didn't say a word.
So I feel for the lady. There is cheering and being a fan and then there is just anti-social behavior. Being in a stadium doesn't excuse that.
