You must hang around some trashy enabling parents. As I said I've done it before and nothing happened. It has happened to my kids and the stranger was correct.

Wow..resulting to personal insults, albeit subtle ones is a clear enough indication.

It's not a personal insult at all. It's contingent on whether you know people who would hit someone because they corrected their kid without vulgarity. If you do, then it's a fact, not an insult. Secondly the trashy part is not aimed at you, it's aimed at those you might know.
Lastly, lets not pretend you were a paragon of politeness in our responses to each other..

Reading what you said, how would you react if a stranger told her, effectively, "STFU!" ?

If they didn't know they were special needs, they get a pass. Afterwards, if they still have a problem, then you can say something.

An older white woman. Does not surprise me in the least. My observations of people who think they can dictate things to others at sporting events and would have the unmitigated audacity to chastise a small girl without any thought of the repercussions pretty much narrowed this down with 95% confidence to be an older white woman.

I'd bet you anything that kid was yelling incessantly throughout the game, not just at times when cheering is appropriate and parents didn't try to use their outing as a teaching moment for their special needs kid. It's obvious she can listen, b/c when the adult tells her "enough" she stops. It's a shame she had to be the one to correct her and not her shitty parents.

Well we didn't see the girl cheer nor did we see the woman yell, hell for that matter she didn't snap. She spoke calmly and firmly... but yeah mind your own business lady.

I had no clue that there were so many fricking snowflakes on this board.

There was a way for the parents to deal with the situation calmly which probably would have resulted in an apology from the woman. Instead half the people on this board want to go full caveman on the woman. She had no clue the girl was special needs. All she knew was that the kid seemed to be out of control and the parents were ignoring the behavior.
