The only crime I see involving the NOPD. Anyone who made the tweet without explicit authorization or permission to tweet on behalf of the company would have been in violation whether they were an employee or not. I would note that Seth Dunlap was not an authorized person which may or may not be relevant.

He did it. Why else would he and his attorney preemptively come out with the lie detector nonsense when no one had publicly accused or even mentioned him doing it himself? They knew this move was coming from WWL and were trying to get out in front of it.

4th paragraph

First sentence the lawyer says "password access". Then when talking about Seth he only says "access". It seems odd he wouldn't say Seth does not have password access if he doesn't. He then says "password access" again in a later sentence in that paragraph.

Cleverly worded lawyer speak?

Lesson for businesses:

Hire straight white men and you'll avoid crap like this.

Maybe.

But guess what? He has no claim based on one tweet.

That's why for the first time we have heard "Pattern". He has a claim if there is a "pattern" of discrimination.

Either there was...or more likely, his lawyer is about to get extremely creative with what constitutes a pattern or discrimination.

Methinks a few employees that Seth likely had a friendly relationship with are about to get deposed for banter they thought was between friends that Seth can now use and frame in a negative light.

Anyone that still has that on their books as a law cannot enforce it or they will face federal lawsuits as laws like that have been struck down on the federal level.

He supposedly took a polygraph that shows he wasn't the sender.

For what that is worth.

You don’t think they have had conversations with WWL/and or felt the pulse of what people are saying?

Of course this board will use his passing a lie detector as proof he is lying

Guys, face it, some people actually do hate gays

There's a reason polygraphs are inadmissible in court.

It was likely also done by a friend of the lawyer and the questions were broad and unspecific.
