I saw that logo and didn't even read the billboard because I thought it was for the pelicans.

That loud low rumble is unlike any other plane I've heard.

Probably wasn't a B52. They have a higher pitch sound. It's a very unique sound that I'll never forget from living next to Barksdale AFB for so long.

Pure sex.

I know the crews of them all would've preferred to be fighter pilots. But goddamn seeing those airborne. Imagining the V of Vs, carrying that ordinance, the sheer hell they caused and the hell those crews went through. fricking fantastic.

May we never see that shite again.

I flew in the b17 aluminum overcast at Oshkosh in July

Unforgettable experience

Also have video of the 16 or so b25's they had there flying in tribute to Doolittle raiders anniversary. Along with video of the only two air worthy b29's up in the air at the same time.

I'm about three miles or so from the end of the East-West runway at Moisant...Armstrong International Airport. The day the D-Day Museum opened there were flyovers of all kinds of planes from Lakefront, and Moisant. The B-52 had to fly out of Moisant and by the time it got over us, near East Jefferson stadium, it couldn't have been more than 500 feet up...Ho. Lee. shite.

It just came up over the trees...wow.

I believe it was Fifi, one of 2 B-29s still flying.

Fun fact: Fifi was featured in an episode of AMC's "Better Call Saul".

HA! Pretty loud, huh?

We've certainly got our money's worth out of those old bombers.

More fun fact: I've seen Fifi in person, but the line was too long for an interior tour. I have been aboard a B-17 and a B-24.

Got to fly in a B-17 about 7 years ago. It was the Yankee Lady, I think.

Awesome flying experience. The plane is very smooth. We hit turbulence, and it just kind of swayed instead of jostling around.

Got to lay up front in the nose gunner's area for a bit. Bottom turret was off limits.

You think that's cool you outta hear those 8 Aeroshell planes with those massive radials fly over at once. Heard them at Barksdale one year.
Not as jizz inducing as blue angels flying over with after burners on. Cool none the less.
