Better question is why do they start lining up at 1:30 to sit in their cars an hour and a half until school lets out at 3:00?
they have to have something to bitch about on fb.

It’s the worst school entrance exit location in BR. With all of the property and money in the possession of EBRSB, it amazes me that they haven’t moved this school. They could sell the land to a developer and make a decent buck. Relocate the school to Claycut on the 10 plus acres they own there that’s not being used.

They are impeding the flow of traffic and it is illegal.
I can't see why the BRPD won't enforce the laws that are on the books.
If my inspection sticker is one day pass due the BRPD will be waiting for me at the end of my driveway at 6 AM.

Really dreading my future with carpool lines.
First week or so is the worst when dropping kids off since every mom seems to forget to take "1st day" pics until they're at the school. As mentioned before don't waste your time getting there early for pickup and getting there late is actually better.

They are picking up their children. Not getting a Frappe Latte. As said above, the answer is to move the school, not further penalize tax payers.

There are a lot of brave cops willing to go into a lot of dangerous situations. Shootouts, the hood at night, etc.
But even they aren’t stupid enough to go into a gaggle of Yukon XLs full of Karens waiting for their kids.
That’s just madness. Can you imagine the snarky FB posts calling for them to be removed? No one wants that headache

left my house at 2 today to run an errand and the moms were already lining up, school gets out at 2:45. Really dreading my future with carpool lines.
Why? Just don’t go sit in line. Show up at 3:00 and pull right up

I have a few years before I have to worry about this, but I think I'm just going to ride my bike to school to skip having to worry about that shite. The school is only a quarter mile away and through a neighborhood.

Other than being on a busy road that's not terrible compared to the Airline Hwy Salvation Army on Thursday mornings. People sit in their idling cars for a few hours backing up the service lane and then Lanier probably as far down as Prescott. All for about $100 worth of food/drinks.

We live less than a mile, but the whole set up is weird, I'll have to go way out of my way to even get in line or pick up because its all a one-way coming towards my house and no Karen is going to let me U-Turn it and butt in line. So my goal is for him to "walk" home to the neighborhood behind the school. The closest house to the school the cars have LA plates, we are in TN, maybe I'll just make friends with them and can tailgate in their driveway everyday waiting for my kid.

When I theoretically list the reasons why we homeschool - carpool is one of them

ETA: Nevermind I thought it was a private school.

Early spot in line when all hell breaks loose and it gives me an hour and a half to answer work emails, make work phone calls, and catch up on TD. All while blocking the frick out of a major north south artery in a town with already nightmarish traffic and billing my time.

Its everywhere
My parents would have lol'ed out loud in my face if I asked them to pick me up from school everyday - my arse rode the bus until senior year then I bought my friend a tank of gas every other week when he bought a car.

When did this become a thing?
When people decided that school choice was everything, and they couldn't send their children to the school right there in the neighborhood, they have to go to school all the way across town. I went to school within a mile from my house because that was the school kids in my neighborhood went to. I could ride my bike, or even walk to school.
