Yep, got mine. At first they gave me a license that was not approved for Federal ID. I had to go back and get it changed.

I hate it. Went to get my license and they told me in order for me to get the passport stamp i needed more forms of id. I said frick it im going out of town and refuse to come back the dmv. Waste of my gd time

Pre-check means you don't have to deal with any of this. Plus you can skip the line filled with peasants and screaming kids.
