WTC 7 - still can’t wrap my head around its collapse

I’m not a 9/11 truther BUT I admit that I do not understand how WTC 7 collapsed in controlled-demolition fashion after simply being hit with debris and fires.
It just doesn’t make sense to me. The towers collapsing the way they did — ok, I can accept the explanation that the steel melted due to the jet fuel. What I can’t accept, in my mind, is that damage resulting from falling debris and fire made building 7 come down in the same exact fashion.
Educate me. I don’t want to grab a tin foil hat.

The building was on fire for hours before it collapsed....

I'd have to think the foundation, that went 65 feet underground, took a big hit with the collapse of those 2 buildings Burning for hours helped none either.

Saudi owned security and gold were also present in the building.
Specific sections of the building were abandoned that day.
WTC7 is the building they don't want anyone talking about.

Link to that post explains it pretty well, thermal expansion from 7 hours of uncontrolled fires did it in, all it takes is one failure to start a chain reaction.

I can't seem to find the video, but it had some of the firefighters that were around it that day and really went into the three main support structures of the building. You can see the first one fail causing a partial collapse visible from the outside a few seconds before the total collapse. The building collapsed in on itself prior to the exterior collapse.
Firefighters knew it was coming well before hand and none of them talk about controlled explosives. No way you keep a secret that big in front of that many people.
We really have nothing else to compare this to, the building took a massive hit from WTC North tower collapse and then had an uncontrolled fire that had access to a lot of diesel fuel to keep it going for several hours. Find me examples of that to compare this to for me to start going all tin foil.
