Same thing happened in BR when shitty five guys opened.
Yeah they opened one in Lafayette too. It was crazy for a week or so, but calmed down. It's still extremely busy for a fast good place.
They should open one by campus..instant gold mine

Lol, isn't there one in Scott? You could get there and back in 30 minutes.

I like a Reese's blizzard as much as the next guy but I'm not waiting more than 10 minutes for one, and that's if I'm in a good mood.

It's what the masses do. I don't get it. Just wait til Lafayette gets an Olive Garden (if you don't already have one). The hysteria will be off the charts.
Been there for years. There used to be fairy queens in Lafayette a long time ago too.
Are you trying to talk shite? Because yes baton rouge definitely beats Lafayette when it comes to shitty chains.

Goatees and DQ that's what Lafayette does

I have never understood this. When a business or restaurant that is new opens up, there always is a huge line. Why would anyone want to wait a lengthy amount of time to just get food? Dairy Queen is not that great btw

This. Perhaps the truest statement that will be posted all day.

The amount of quality restaurants in Lafayette that don't involve a line makes me say no.

When Lafayette shitty restaurants go to br (I.e. coyote blues & tsunami) same shite happens
Not talking shite on Lafayette....I just used Olive Garden as an example of when retarded insanity hit BR when that placed opened here.

Idiots. I'm not waiting in line for an hour to do anything, unless it's something I have to have like DMV or something.
I have a very short fuse when it comes to patience. I won't wait an hour in line to ride a ride at Disney World.

Still, later in the week, the lines of cars are stretched out down Johnston Street..just for some damn ice cream in a cup that has DQ on it.
I am not sitting in Line for an Average Burger and Milk Shake.

Why do you care about what other people do? If I want a damn blizzard ice cream that I can flip upside down without it falling out, thats my prerogative.

Can you imagine of it was an In N Out?

Yep.
Whenever we go visit the in-laws in Dallas, we always stop at one in Hooks right off I-30. It's in the middle of nowhere and is always awesome.

For real you can't drive anywhere and back in just 30 minutes in this anymore. Damn outsiders moving in!
