The opposite of what everyone else takes so I can have one day of a chance at better traffic and one day at home while everyone else suffers in it.

Monday. Friday makes a good end to the week and great night to go out and celebrate. Thursday as the last day would be weird.

Well, I’m retired so it doesn’t matter……….consequently, I never remember what day of the week it is unless I look at my watch or phone.

I work 4 tens and my off day is Monday. The main reason I chose that one is I used to play golf pretty much every Sunday at a course that had an all you can play after 2 o'clock for 20 bucks. I would play until dark and be pretty much wore out and it was nice having Monday off.
They don't have that anymore so I could go either way now but my off day is still Monday

I usually take Monday's off when I just want to burn a day. The reason is that we are usually busy at work on Monday and Friday is pretty laid back. I'm getting more bank for my buck

Yeah i been saying this for years and dying on this hill- for me the answer is Mondays and it’s not a close call .
Almost everyone's in a good mood on Friday, and the work day seems easier.. Mondays are generally shitty and the feeling of sleeping in on a Monday morning- while the unwashed masses set their alarms and then sit in traffic- is unparalleled.. of course i work remote so all of this is only theoretical for me .

My kids school is closed on more Mondays that I don’t have off than Fridays
It would be more helpful for me to have Monday off
The golf course reasoning is sold too. Also grocery shopping on a Monday would be nice instead of the weekend
Fridays by noon, I am mostly just catching up on stuff anyway and I can usually check out early afternoon

Younger me would've wanted Fridays to go out.
Current me wants Mondays because it's a nice, slow day. Also allows me to run some errands, get in appointments, etc. I've basically been working half days on Mondays as of late since I go late on Tuesday-Thursday and it's been great.

Yeah, I used Fridays to get caught up because everyone else had taken off. The other bonus was never having a case of the Mondays.
