Would you rather be very bald, very fat, or very short?

Indefinitely and irreparably.

I think I'd pick very bald. While it can certainly impact confidence, one's personal life, and even one's work life, I think a lot of that can be overcome with effort and self-improvement in other areas. Otherwise, it's completely benign.

Being very short is a close second. It's similar to baldness in a lot of ways, but I think that it is a little harder to compensate for.

I'd least enjoy being very fat. For one, it's unhealthy and likely to lead to an earlier death. Secondly, in addition to having the same drawbacks as the other maladies, it also tacks on multiple others, like limited mobility and increased fatigue. Thirdly, it's probably the most physically unattractive of the three.
