Red pill all day. If you choose blue pill...imagine sitting in a classroom, grades 6 -12, with the mind and personality of an adult, bored out of your mind and knowing when your friends and family will die. Now if you are able to alter the future..maybe the blue pill.

10 year old is going to have a lot of problems scratching up capital to buy stock or open a brokerage account. Maybe by 15 he can mow some lawns and convince his parents to cosign a Charles Schwab account or something. And even then he's going to have a hard time turning whatever he can save up into $25 million over the next 10 years. I think a lot of people would be tempted to relive high school and college for the sex aspect. But that's fool's gold. If you weren't getting laid by hot chicks when you were younger I doubt that will change if you get a do-over with the wisdom of hindsight and more knowledge and experience. That's not the way young girls work. "Oh wow, this dorky small kid with acne seems so clever and wise beyond his years, maybe I'll have sex with him instead of the cool quarterback!" Not happening. Take the guaranteed money and the adult platform. Those teenage years weren't as great as you think they were and you won't improve on them as much as you think.
You make a convincing argument.
I would argue that most shots you didn’t take at a younger age were due to lack of confidence or wit. You may be the exception but 99% of boys at that age are still figuring things out.

Good points.
I was thinking more about saving a life or 2 and giving a couple of proper goodbyes than the money.

Blue pill.
If I had $50m at age 25, my ex and I would have stayed married and had some kids. But it would have just postponed the inevitable divorce for a few years, then she would have walked away with half and I would have had to deal with her for 15-16 years. Forget that. I'll go back to 10 and avoid that entanglement altogether.

Blue Pill,
I know to buy just enough BTC at its infancy to become a multi-billionaire.

Probably the blue pill. While there is no guarantee, I feel confident I could invest with what I know and make plenty of money. Also, I loved high school and would go back just to do that over and with that I know now it would be an even better time.

When I was 18 it was 18 cents/share. I'd do alright. Maybe not at 10 but I'd be a wealthy adult and also get teleported back to the 80s

Having to relive middle & high school with an alcoholic dad is not my idea of a good time, even with all the knowledge. I’ll take the money at 25.

As long as I still have my kids, I'd take the blue pill, become president, and really drain the swamp.

The easy way out and quick answer red pill. Once you put some thought into it the only answer is blue pill. Just imagine what a advantage you have over every aspect of your life if you suddenly went back to 10 years old but retain all of your current knowledge. In my case gathered over 54 years on this earth.

quote:Yeah this needs to be clarified. Everyone is assuming we're going back in time, but that makes it too easy for most people. All you need to know is Apple, Amazon, and Bitcoin and you can have as many billions as you want.
Depends. Are you going back in time to when you were 10 or 25 and actually know what's going to happen in the future (stocks, etc.)? Or are you just going to be 10 with all the knowledge you have now and it's 2023?
It's tougher if we stay in 2023 and only your age changes. Would you rather be a wise 10 year old in 2023, or your dumb arse self at age 25 with $50 million in 2023? Do you trust that you would make something of yourself armed with knowledge, or trust that you wouldn't squander millions as a dumbass?

If it's 2023 and I don't go back in time give me the money.

Blue.
50 million doesn't matter a lot when you're in your 80s

The butterfly effect isn't something I've really considered. Would I make different choices and now my kids don't exist?
Also, what would you do knowing something like 9/11 was going to happen?
