Yes or no, and why.

I would be a hard no. When they move out they can do what they want

my daughter can get 1 piercing in each ear, in the lobe and that's it. Anything else from either and they will not be under my roof.

No, simply because I can guarantee whatever they think is important to them now enough to tattoo on their body, is not even going to be on your radar by the time you are 21

I’ll let my daughters pierce their ears. frick no on tattoos. Kids are stupid and tattoo removal is expensive.

No and I would explain to them that tattoos are

distinguishing marks that would give them away

should they ever have to become a fugitive.

I told both my sons they can do to their body as they choose after their 18th birthday, and when fully supporting themselves, and they both honored that.

I graduated HS during peak “tramp stamp” phase. Ahead of senior trip, one of my classmates got a tramp stamp of dog paws thinking that shite looked cute. I remember telling my dad that and he said “so she’s gonna be walking around looking like she just got bent over and fricked by a dog?”

Yeah, I saw an Instagram post years later where she admitted she really regretted that one...

Certain small tattoos can be attractive on some women occasionally, but for the life of me, I can’t figure out what people find attractive about nose rings or 5+ ear piercings.

Told my daughters they could get nipple piercings on their 13th birthdays, but not a day earlier! Thought that was pretty fair.

Hell no. And I would STRONGLY encourage my adult children not to either.
