I've worked out in different gyms since I was 13 and I've seen this shite play out at every one of them. Trainer is fit and usually decent looking. Feeds them positive reenforcement constantly. They never argue and he's always happy to see her and feeding her compliments and words of encouragement. Women start to notice a change in their bodies and are happier and believe he's the reason for it. The relationship expands to her confiding in him and the workouts get horizontal.

I wouldn’t put myself in a situation where I was with a female trainer and feel pretty confident she wouldn’t go to a male trainer. I mean she goes to a female only gym now so it tracks.

Never
Had 2 friends who thought they were in healthy marriages until their wives’ trainer was a male
Never led to sex but there was WAY too many texts that should not have been sent. Late night drunk texts, way too flirty
Some of those trainers might seem charming with nice bodies, but they are piece of shite losers who spend hours and hours complementing housewives around how nice they look and all this awesome progress they’re making and how they should be in a magazine and all this other pathetic despicable bullshite
sadly a lot of those wives probably don’t hear it enough at home and just eat that shite up

Would you let your spouse have a opposite sex trainer at the gym?
I have no control over anyone else, and I dont want to control anyone else, so yes. If they want to cheat or leave me, they would either way.
I will add, if you dont like the guy it's absolutely fine to tell her and she should also listen to you on that.

You think you would actually know that she was using a trainer?
And if the trainer was attractive, you really think you would know?

Any man who thinks they are letting their wife do anything is a man who has a wife who is doing exactly what she damn well pleases. Let your spouse do something.

Yes. And aren't about 99% of personal trainers men anyway, with the remaining 1% being lesbians?
If so the 1% would be the problem.....that would be the one to keep your wfie from.

My ex husband made me stop training with a male trainer at the gym not long after we were married. My experience with these type of situations is that usually the one accusing or placing these type of boundaries on their spouse/gf/SO is guilty of whatever they’ve been accusing the other person of.

Of course I would—If you don’t trust your spouse, why bother being married?
It's not that simple. Is it like once a week or 3-4 sessions, etc? The more intimate time you spend with someone, the more a connection is made. And trust me, there's a lot of touching going on in gym sessions.
It doesn't take a genius to see what road that goes down.

Bingo, but you also left out the touching.
And yeah, I've watched this same story unfold way too many times to count now. People on this board are naive.
