looks good on the outside, but I am not a fan of the new Honda interiors. Granted, the interior on my Land Cruiser is something out of the 80's

I wish Honda/Acura would make a LC equivalent.

Probably a solid car as we all know. Looks like a VW Passat a lot now.

my kid has a new civic touring, the interior is great in that for a compact sedan. really solid and feels nice. i was hoping for more out of the accord but it looks like the exact same.

the outgoing body looks much better IMO. and the sport wheels are some of the best stock wheels on a car.

That’s a very uninspiring design. The outgoing model was (and still is) a head turner.

Biggest issue: they dropped the 2.0T engine and its 10 speed auto. That thing was hot and punched above its numbers IMO.

Most output this thing has is 204hp with hybrid and eCVT. That’s just not a compelling sales proposition for the $40k they’ll be asking for the Touring trim.

Pass. Get the TLX.

I like it. But it looks like a Kia in the back.

Hell no I wouldn't drive that. My parents got an Accord and I'm either knocking my neck out or back in alignment trying to get in to the squatty damn thing.

Parents are older so I'm driving them to doctor appointments in their car.

I like the interior of my Touring quite a bit, but I acknowledge that it's a different than the non-touring models.

I drove that exact car for 270k miles. Great car.

I have a 2018 Accord that I paid $25K for. I plan to drive it for at least 10 years.

Ridgeline, Odyssey, Pilot and Passport all have the same 3.5 V6.

Damn good engine.

Why? AFAIK Honda has never built a 4WD vehicle. They don't build trucks and the Honda/Acura 4WD badged SUVs were Isuzus and Land Rovers. While Honda can do pretty much anything it puts its mind to the time it would take to catch up to Toyota in the area would be huge and the market is tiny.

To the OP it looks like what a 1st grader draws when you say draw a car. No character. Character can be hit and miss and Honda can't afford a miss.

AWD yes.

Conventional 4wd systems, you are probably right.

I wish Honda would build a real truck/suv on a normal frame like the Tacoma/4 Runner. Give it a real selectable 4wd system…it could rival a Toyota. For whatever reason, they are content with the current offerings and keeping a small market share.

But hey, it works and people are buying them.
