I had that exact car. Burgundy with black interior. It was a blast to drive.

The 5.7 was pretty quick to the standard of that time. Now, your average Toyota has more HP.

I’d go hunting for honeys at the lakefront with the T tops off and Home Sweet Home blaring from the speakers. The 80’s were great. No political correctness, no social media, and no one had a damn camera on them at all times.

Damn right.

Looks exactly like my first remote control car I got for Christmas one year.

I would drive the shite out of it. It looks like it should come with a nice whitewashed, starched jean jacket in the trunk. Collar popped, of course

It flat out embarrassed the Mustang GT

Not sure what this refers to. In a drag race the fastest Mustangs from that era were never seriously threatened by any Camaro, to say nothing of "embarrased"

No.

I don't hate these cars, at all. But don't buy one and expect it to be fast, at least not without a lot of work.

Nope. Didn't like them then, don't like them now. Poor suspension. Interior sucks. Rough ride. Redneckmobile for a reason

Holy shite, the lady up the street had a car under cover, and i always wondered what it was. 2 days ago, she was uncovering it, and it was an iroc z with the t tops.

I lol'd to myself, but remember how popular it was back in the day.

I’d rather a ‘79-‘80 model. Loved that body style.

Every time I have a few drinks and drive home I pull up with the windows down and the Hank Jr playing. My wife knows that I have been drinking as soon as I turn the corner.
