I'd drive the shite out of it!! The Continental, and the Chrysler Imperial of the same era were the most pimped out land yachts ever made.

The closest thing since then was the prototype Cadillac Ciel.

I'd add wood grain side panels and we good to go!

That's a bad mf'er. I wouldn't drop it like that but everything else is on point.

I've been looking for a nice land yaht. In my dreams, I'd totally restore one. In reality, my yard, garages and storage are full of half finished projects. I need one in good shape that just needs a little cosmetic work and maybe some minor mechanical stuff. Or else it'll join my graveyard of neglected projects.

It's basically an 01 lincoln clad in a 63 body. He cut and welded both unibodies together.

Sub 3k lbs now. Almost 30 mpg out of a big american cruiser.

On hwy 347 between Henderson and Breaux Bridge there was a similar Lincoln sitting in the front yard of a house for years

Not sure if it still there

I wouldn't give more than 6 or 7k for that one. Sedans are a dime a dozen. 62 thru 66 Vert's are where it's at and can be picked up at that same price if you look hard enough.

My father had one like this 1967. Seven riding to Fort Walton Beach-on the old road- with him drinking a Falstaff and smoking a Pall Mall saying " put the god damn window up son. You're letting the smoke out."

Found one I am going to look at in a few hours. Same guy with the green one in my OP.

Not as nice inside, and needs some paint or a wrap job, but it's more of what I was looking for.

Absolutely. This has always been one of my favorite cars, although as others have stated I would get a paint job

Check for rust down in the rocker panels, rear trunk, and cowl.
