My dad had a maroon one but I think it was 67 or 68. We pack all 7 of us in and go on vacation and it was a land whale if their ever was one!!

I've got a 69 Mako Shark that me and my dad restored with a 4 speed manual 454 in my garage.

Just one word. Awesome. Duntov, Shnoda and crew outdid themselves with that vehicle.

Now you post a pic of that beast!

Hells yes. I'd paint it, though.

That's not the color I would want, but if I won the lottery that's on my classic cars to buy list, just more Entourage than 1960 refrigerator green.

Detroit really put out some seriously ugly shades of green in the late 60's-early 70's. Even that didn't stop people from buying them up. Must have been the drugs back then.

This 67 is the one I want. I will set it up like this one but with my own touch.

After I clicked the link and saw $15k, I would drive the shite out of it if I could get it for under $20 and not even worry about painting it. Because, everyone on here saying just change the color may not realize just how big an ordeal it is to change the color of a car completely without it looking like shite. As one person said, you have to hit every nook and cranny on the car that you normally don't have to do if you're going back to the same color.

Must have. I remember my grandparents having a green Plymouth something, that was duller than the shade of this Lincoln, and then he had a beige Dodge Aspen I think it was. They also had a sky blue station wagon, probably a Dodge too, with woodgrain down the side and matching woodgrain interior trim.

All were ugly as hell.

Noice - probably looking at $5,000 to take care of the rust and chrome problems and another $3,000 for a good paint job.
