Yes. That's one of the few decent Lincolns ever made....and it's awesome.

I'm not a classic car guy but I love old Lincolns.

My grandfather had one with the suicide doors . I'm not sure what year though.

Na, that thing is hideous. If I buy a 1969 anything it'd be a Camaro

I met the owner of the Plymouth last summer at the show in Sulphur. Nice guy and very knowledgeable.
That's the second show I missed over there. I was packed up and ready for the sow at St Luke's a couple of weeks ago but the threat of rain kept me from making it.

I like em OK, but they wallow all over the road, so, no.

That Plymouth and an old Bel Air were the most completely restored cars there IMO. They were in immaculate shape.

The pink Caddy Limo "Elvis65" was interesting.

What sort of car do you show?

My dad had a friend with a 46 Willys Jeep in the show today.

I have a 69 vette. I go more to 'look and connect' rather than compete. It's not a trailer queen and I drive it to and from.

Was the Bel Air a 57, dark blue?

Nice. There were very few Vettes there today. Only one that stood out was a banana yellow Vette but I don't remember the year.

Beautiful car! I love the look of that body style. I'd love to see a few pics if you have any handy.

The eBay link shows some surface rust at minimum. I'd have to have a full inspection before buying it.

It's pretty easy to tell if surface rust is deeper or not if you know what to look for. I have done enough body work at my grandfather's body shop not to let that worry me. I am 40 minutes from that car and thinking about going to look at it but the green scares me more that little bit of easily repaired rust. If the rust was under the paint causing it to bubble where you couldn't tell how far it goes, then that would be more of a concern.

Get a sandblaster and a good paint gun. Great car and a fun project.

Oh, hell yes! I love the suicide door Lincolns and The Thunderbirds.

When Dodge decided to make the Charger a 4 door car, they should have at least made the back doors suicide style.
