Price Guide

He's spot on for a #4 car, but that rust would scare me (what I can see).

You can go bust curing the tin worm, but you know that from the family business.

If you can see a good bit of rust, what does that tell you about the areas you can't see?

I agree, you can easily sink $20k in that car just in bodywork, paint and interior. That's not counting driveline and undercarriage.

Here's an air car, no obvious bad habits, asking $49K.

Best hurry up and scratch it, these cars are going up faster than a homesick angel.

Not yet. Going to sleep on it. Don't want to jump into anything and regret it. It's not like he is going to sell the one I looked at any time soon. He has 3 Vette projects he is working on now which buys me some time to see if a convertible closer to me comes up instead of having to drive to Waco for the one I posted earlier. It was a little rougher than the photos he posted showed. He wanted too much for the work it needs IMO.

I've had plenty of older Jeeps I have fixed up and enjoy having something to work on. Just want something different this time around.

Damn... That's a good find! I'd love to bring it back to its perfect form. Keep everything original.

That car is what you call a sled. I'd love to glide and swang in that thang. I don't know why car rental companies don't have a couple old classics you can choose to rent. I think that would be awesome to be able to pick up something like this ride that most normally don't ever get to drive and just isn't in someone's budget to buy, and enjoy driving it for a couple days while in a city for business. Instead of the boring ol Ford Focus or Chevy Cruz or 200 or one of the same boring cars everyone buys due to it being practical.

KStout, keep us up to date if you pull the trigger on this thing. I'm actually not that turned off by the green lol, but I get another color or black could look much cleaner. I'm curious how this thing runs, the smooth ride, and the gas mileage. (Maybe it's really fast and you can save gas)
