Pickup should make hauling your gubment cheese and peanut butter around a lot easier.

If I wanted a Japanese utility truck, I'd watch tentacle porn.

Elon is a visionary, not a businessman. It's easy to understand why people don't like the business of overpromising, overpricing, and federally subsidizing a car.

agree on everything but the "federally subsidizing." musk has zilch to do with government subsidies on electric vehicles, which were in place for several years (maybe a decade?) before tesla was around. toyota used this subsidy for years to hock priuses, and i doubt anyone on here complained.

The fact that you don't amazes ME.

Land of fruits and NUTS.

BTW genius, you did not spell Musk correctly. Have you even heard of him before?

How about Jerry Brown? Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, etc.? Their laws, especially the ones that are opposite of our constitution? The list goes on .... and on...

How about making it look completely different.

Of course no one complained. I think people honestly think the government just went to Tesla and gave Musk a magical handout that no one else had access to.

As you stated, the subsidies were already in place. I think people just don't really want to think too much into it, it's much easier to just blindly hate.

Musk certainly wasn't the first to use it, but his entire Tesla business is propped up by it. It stands to the viability of his vision/business.

Remove those subsidies and it just pushed him further into the business he's already in. Overpriced, unavailable luxury vehicles.

I’ll wait for the crew cab ultra set to release in 2045. Already put my deposit, but Tesla sent me an email saying it was already delayed.

Kind of reminds me of a Unimog, which I would drive.

The van looks like something B A Baracus from the A-Team would drive.
