A driver has NO physical damage coverage whatsoever while operating, Uber only provides liability coverage for the duration of the ride. If you get in an accident, your insurer will deny the claim and cancel you for misrepresentation (livery exclusion, vehicle use for commercial purposes).

Yeah, I think some of the guys that work my neighborhood here probably do pretty decent, I don't go often to the strip but when I do it is anywhere from $30-$50 (downtown). I know most of them drive for both Uber and Lyft.
I love the service as most cabs hate driving out here to pick up or drop off. I have found Lyft to be a little less expensive though.

Regardless, if I had to pick a profession that had the highest concentration of uneducated power bottoms, Uber drivers would be up there.

Its easy to tell. If you see a random car just stop on the side of the road like they are picking someone up and someone gets into the backseat of the vehicle, its Uber

Who cares what your insurance says when you're without a fare? Like youre going to tell them right After the wreck youre working for uber?

I was going to try it but everything I've read has turned me off of it. I don't know if it's worth the hassle of doing extra taxes on it, worrying about insurance problems and having drunks vomit in my car. I'm sure uber doesn't cover that either.

They'd have a small print out of the uber logo on their front windshield. Usually it's on the passenger side.
