Assuming you didn't need a pickup truck or a minivan/crossover, would you drive one of these fully loaded four wheel drive wagons?
Volkswagen Alltrak SEL ($32,890):
Subaru Outback 3.6R Touring ($38,160):
Buick Regal TourX ($40,520):
Audi Allroad Premium ($47,200):
Volvo Cross Country ($52,300):
They all look much more appealing than most crossovers to me, and definitely more useful than a sedan.

Only if it was wood paneled.
ETA: In all seriousness I saw a beautiful wood paneled Mercedes station wagon on the way back from Tennessee. I didn't even know mercedes ever made a station wagon.

Supposedly the Mercedes E-Class wagon buyer is among the brands most loyal customers. They are more likely to pay cash than buyers of any other Mercedes model.

FF's might be the ugliest Ferrari ever made.
And it's not a station wagon

The Cadillac wagon looks awesome.
We have a Subaru Outback that has been an excellent vehicle for us. I would definitely consider another one, or that new Buick or Audi.
