I can't speak for there but in TN my position was eliminated back in June. I got one 600 check then it went back to 250 taxed.

I don't get no unemployment in November even though my new position doesn't start till Dec 6th.

I've worked and payed in since I was 16. 20 years now. I'm can reapply in June next year but obviously I got a new job. So won't

Arkansas division workforce....

quote:

ADWS is asking employers to let them know when people refuse job offers, fail to show up for interviews, fail to pass or show up for drug tests or refuse to return to work when recalled. Unemployment claimants may be disqualified if they refuse offers of suitable work. ADWS said often times they don’t report it themselves, escaping disqualification, which is a form of fraud.

I haven't seen anything like this from DETR (Nevada unemployment division). But I'm in Clark county, which is Cali-lite.

The system is set up for guys like you. That's what it's there for.

I've turned in a couple of guys who quit to go to another job, but the other job is cash under the table.

I'm sure this guy is making money doing cash jobs as well as getting his unemployment check plus food stamps.

I shouldn't have responded to him. A guy who has over 120k posts in a forum like this says enough, unless Chicken is paying him to post.

we get at least one and sometimes 4 or 5 fraudulent unemployment claims every week. I and have 8 employees. I can’t imagine what the big employers are dealing with now. Fraud is not just common it is rampant and becoming a way of life

I'm not going to laugh at your horrific grammar because I feel for people in your position. You work your entire life paying taxes on all of it and you get the short end of the stick when you actually need it. It sucks worse to hear about people everywhere milking the system.

Am I reading that correctly? Out of your 8 employees, they are claiming some sort of unemployment claim weekly? Is it the same one/ones?

What's your line of work?

What are they trying to claim?

If they call here, I’ll answer as Vandelay Industries and say we interviewed you for our latex salesman position.

no, we get LA workforce commission letters notifying us that there’s random claims from people we’ve never hired. I throw them in the trash
