I'm sure you're not talking about what I'm talking about. You need to use context clues.

It would just be the terrible trash that you see around 30A

Yes. It's called silt. It's why Destin beaches are beautiful and Biloxi beaches are shite.

Let's say all of the muddy + silty water didn't flow down to LA & I to the Gulf of Mexico.

Would the Sportsman's Paradise coast line of LA resemble that of FL thus providing a better overall fishing + vacationing experience?

1. The beaches would be have a different type of sand and the water would not be as brown.

2. The sand does not make the experience. The sand on some of the beaches in the Caribbean had a similar sand to Grand Isle and the beach experience was great (topless European women helped too). The quality/color of the water is a big detractor though. If the river flowed into the marshes and wetlands (like God and Mother Nature intended) instead of the Gulf of Mexico then the water would cleaner.

3. If the Ms River ended somewhere else then La would not be the sportsman paradise that it is today, and it probably would not exist south of the old bridge in BR.

Would terrible trash (physical + human) still plague LA roads & waterways?

Probably. The population of South Louisiana is the problem not the geography.

No. Just look at Gulf Shore and Orange Beach vs Miami. The beaches at GS/OB are better and more beautiful beaches, but the quality of women is not the same.

If you want to go to the beach to observe a higher quality of women; go to the Caribbean or the beaches of southern Europe along the Mediterranean and Black Seas.

Galvestons water is like that because of the jetties.

A half mile off the coast the water is clear blue and perfect

there are no jetties on the beach from sabine pass to Galveston bay.. the beach water is muddy from the outflow of the Mississippi river and south wind.. I'm not guessing I have a house there .

Considering the MS River is 350(literally) miles east of Galveston, I’m thinking other sources are the cause of the muddy water...

Well it’s not like we import the sand. I live in BSL and they simply pump the sand from just off shore up onto the beach. It’ll bleach out and turn sand color on its own. I know, that’s still nan made...but if we had waves it would push up the natural sand. Years of silt and erosion has created the barrier islands,.. it if we didn’t have those there’d be...well I don’t know what would be here. The beaches here are passable, but the water is only good for making tasty critters.

Google earth it.. the south wind makes it hug the coast. I'm sure sabine contributes but when theres a drought up north the water clears some along the coast of la and texas

I think the river water makes the fishing much, much, much BETTER, not worse.

The coastline might look more like FL/ South Texas, but the coastline would basically be at I-12/190. Everything south of that was built up by the river.

from the air you can see the Houston shipping channel blasting the gulf with silt for miles, that's probably the biggest contibutor

Yes, of course the coast in LA would be prettier of the Miss R were somewhere else. See FL panhandle and S Padre

Other than having flats, the Keys and snook, Florida's fishing pales in comparison to the saltwater/offshore fishing in Louisiana.

It really wouldn't change much. Luckily the we have the islands, the water and beaches are just as nice as Florida with no where near the crowds.
