This is true. Louisiana fishing is far superior to Florida. The difference is ridiculous.
That really depends on what you’re fishing for. Freshwater fishing is better in Florida. As far as saltwater species, Louisiana offers a chance at a higher quantity of fish no doubt, but the species variety is superior in Florida. You can’t catch lane snapper, snook, bonefish, permit, year round tarpon, and hogfish in Louisiana outside of the occasional outliers. You can target all of those species in FL. If we’re talking specks, reds, or tuna then yes, LA is vastly superior due to the proximity of the shelf and the habitat created by the river inshore

Yes. It's called silt. It's why Destin beaches are beautiful and Biloxi beaches are shite.
I think you're right, but another factor is the barrier islands. They trap silt. If you go to the south-facing beaches on Ship Island I think the water's pretty clear.

This was great. Had a full range of OT'ers: smart asses, homers, & people who have actually fished outside of the state.
I grew up fishing in South LA & benefitting greatly from it. I won multiple fishing rodeos/divisions out of Grand Isle (grew up with a camp at Tahiti East until Katrina/Rita sent it into the bay), Golden Meadow, & Lafourche. Also hunting all along out of our camp in Grosse Tete. So, I'm fully aware of the benefits of the MS River's flow into the delta. I wasn't questioning its merits. Just posing a full on hypothetical as I've fished all over the Gulf Coast & Caribbean my adult life-was purely curious as to what the OT would think of the notion.

Don't take this personal, but this is the stupidest damn question I ever seen asked on this board.

I'm not worried about an OweO opinion.
