re: Would the highest paid lawyer in Baton Rouge be a corporate lawyer or billboard lawyer?

Billboard lawyers don’t hold a candle to the highest rainmakers at the big corporate firms.
They’ll make millions year after year after year. Billing $1,000 or more per hour. They just don’t usually shove it in everybody’s face with a new Lambo and side bimbo to match every few months.
There’s a difference between being wealthy and rich.

Depends. They're all on a partner path when they start as an associate, and if you're not carrying your weight and not going to become a partner, they'll cut you loose. In house counsel is the "safest" and most stable that also pays well.

I keep copies in my desk as a sick reminder of what not to be in this industry:

Neither, the ones that land the big class action lawsuits make the big dollars

The question is about BR, are their any attorneys in BR that routinely manage large class actions like toxic torts?
During the salad days of toxic/mass tort claims, there is almost zero question the top case managers had the highest "lawyer doing lawyer things" comp in the US. You could make millions upon millions just by acquiring the cases. That is what funding all those mesothelioma etc ads. Guys with small to mid-sized PI firms were suddenly buying jets.

Other than the money (which is probably a little warm to the touch since he's actually using Jesus' name to basically steal from people), how can they defend this?
When I find myself in other states, I'll often look for PI billboards just to see if I can see anything lower. I can safely say that so far, the old Big Truck Lawyer takes the absolute cake. If it wasn't so sad, it would be outright hilarious. But then I remember that I have to live here... for a little while longer anyway.

It was a paycheck to put against student loan bills. They didn’t stay long.
Do you know about the swag closet full of Gordon gear with different tiers based on the value of your case?

I’m not sure of the answer to your question. But, this got me thinking and wondering has anyone ever seen a female billboard lawyer? I don’t think I’ve ever seen one.

I don’t know how she’s ever gonna practice law, I mean who would hire a woman lawyer?

How about a former stuntwoman PI/billboard lawyer, who may or may not have been implicated in allegations of criminal fraud?

Whatever the motive, Garrison’s killing could have an effect on a case that presumably was being built against his attorney, Vanessa Motta. The charges filed against him allege that Motta, who features her work as an on-screen stuntwoman in television commercials billing her as “a bad a— attorney,” helped secure a fraudulent $650,000 settlement in an accident that Garrison staged and for which he was paid a share of the settlement.
The court records don’t name Motta or her fiancé, Sean Alfortish, but they strongly suggest that Alfortish was paying Garrison to stage the accidents and referring the resulting legal work to Motta. Justice Department policy generally calls for using pseudonyms for people accused in documents of breaking the law but not charged with a crime. The indictment calls Alfortish “Co-conspirator A” and Motta “Attorney B.”
