Yeah, America... checks and balances, and all that other crap written forever ago that no one is paying attention to nowadays.

I don't think any country would send troops to stop us, particularly if we framed it up with some bullshite reason like Russia does. However, of we became imperialistic and started taking over countries with any kind of regularity, I think the rest of the world would oppose us and eventually use military strength to stop the progression.

No one would send a uniformed military force to fight us in the Western Hemisphere - not even a theoretical opposition country's neighbors or allies. That would be suicide. I think it's probably possible to one degree or another that it would happen in Asia/Africa/Europe, but not likely.

What countries would do is send loads of money, weapons, and "advisers" to oppose us in such a theoretical fight (think Iran's activities in Iraq circa 2003 - 2010).

Like maybe let’s say Grenada?
