Now, if we invaded Argentina/islands off Argentina, it would only take a cruise ship of soldiers to get the job done.

Our government would just allow another 9/11 and blame it on that country.

I'm sure Peru or Chile would send their armies.

I think we should conquer the Mexican border states, kill off the cartels and create a buffer state between the US and Mexico.

Central America would support it. It would save them the trouble of having to come here.

They are invading us right now, why can't we invade them?

If we started conquering small neighboring countries, what is to stop China and Russia from doing the same thing?

They didn't the first couple of times. Well, some did, but not enough.

Mexican War

Spanish-America War

Feel free to add your own examples.

Taking back the canal from Panama and charging each ship a surcharge would be well worth it. I’d also allow it if the US took the Suez from Egypt. Complete dominance of global trade that would give the US complete leverage in trade negotiations.

If we did something as described, it would take Russia about 4 minutes to begin the invasion of the Baltics and any other country they desired. China also would invade Taiwan, and probably at least take quite a few islands in the south china sea.

In effect we would be getting garbage and they would be getting gold.
