Already have several times. Teenage son smoking cigarettes in the back yard. Reported to sheriff's. Other neighbor was loudly cussing in his back yard at his dogs and appeared to be drinking alcohol with open container in public view in front yard.

I know. One teaches a woman her place while another is a detriment to society.

Why would anyone tell on their neighbors for something like that?

Apparently, in California you get a reward for this.

No idea but the system was legit. For a while that baw (in the neighborhood adjacent to us) would go out to his jacked-up 4x4 every afternoon after getting in from work, turn it on then sit in it for 10-15 minutes with his music thumping enough to rattle my windows, get out, go inside for about 30-60 minutes then rinse and repeat all evening long (later I found out I wasn't the only neighbor to call on them).

It depends, Having company over or spending time outside during Covid-19. frick No. If they got a dead body back there or I suspect they're hiding a fugitive from the law, you damn right I am.

Depends on what they are doing. My neighbors smoke more pot than anyone I've ever met. I don't care.

If I thought they had kidnapped a child? I'd snitch in a heartbeat.

Yes. Growing up my next door neighbor was a pedophile and his wife started a whore/drug house. Parents called the cops and they staled out the house in our tree house. My brother thought it was so cool that cops were chilling in our tree house.

Depends on the crime obviously. If he's smoking a blunt on his back porch then no, puff puff pass, bitch. If he's burying a body in his back yard or rolling a dead hooker up in a carpet, I'm gonna have to call 911 for that.
