I don't care what my neighbor does as long as they are quiet about it.

Yep. I feel like it's totally disrespectful to thump bass, be playing loud music, work on a lawn, etc. after 9 PM. If it's after 8, I get bothered, but once 9 hits is when I actually go start talking to people about it.

We have a house with 3 college students next to us, but they have a get together that will last till around midnight or so over there about once every 6 months. I'm fine with that. It's when someone starts making the same noises at the same time with no regard for others that really pisses me off.

People are trying to sleep. You wanna make all that racket, go buy 10+ acres out of town. You live near people you need to consider them.

I mean, am I going to rat them out for smoking a little pot or not "properly" social distancing? frick no.

Am I going to turn them in if I find out they're members of ISIS or selling state secrets to the Chinese or something along those lines? frick yes.

frick my neighbors.

Just the other day one of them came knocking on my door at 2 AM saying he wanted to chat. I couldn’t believe it! I had to put down my angle grinder to go figure out what the dick wanted that late at night.

Even if I did "rat" my neighbor out for having 6 people over for a crawfish boil, nothing would happen

But no, I wouldn't rat on anyone for breaking any of these nonsense quarantine measures.

Then no. That does not seem like a scenario where snitching on him would open up an opportunity to go over and comfort his hot wife.

What my neighbor does on his private property is none of my god damn business so long as it does not spill on to my property. This is America. Don’t want neighbors? But a bigger plot of land and put your house away from the lot lines. Problem solved.

Hell yeah, I would. I don't even know them and I've been living here for ~7 years.

I did that one time. My neighbor had about 12 people over for a boil and I watched them through the blinds in my laundry room. He didn’t invite me even after I asked him almost every week for four months if I could help him cook at the next one.

So I went up to Gulf Seafood market and got a lb of live crawfish and did my own boil. I set up on my lawn about 1 ft inside where our yards merge and where they all could see me. I got a party speaker and blared Snoop Dogg and acted cool bobbing my head around. Got the mike and plugged it into the speaker and started acting like I was their DJ.

Most of them went inside but a couple of guys came over and took pictures of me and my setup and said I was awesome. They laughed with me and said they would ask my neighbor when I was having my next party so they could bring some friends.

Once. Had a couple move into the neighborhood and a few months later decided to set up a chicken farm along with roosters. 4am every morning, everyone was treated to the backyard wake up alarm clock.
Talked to the owner and reminded him the city had an ordinance prohibiting this and he told me he doubted they would enforce it.
I made the call and two days later animal control showed up with two trucks. They didn't leave empty.
Yes, I'm a snitch.
