This speed trap existed until 2017.
The elevated part of 310 from I-10 to the Luling Bridge was 60MPH until August 2017.

LSP posted up on that stretch EVERY DAY to nail drivers. It may have been the worst trap by our states Finest.
Nola.com -The state finally increases speed from 60 to 70mph on 310.

Yep. Airline Hwy in NORCO. SCPS sit on both sides of the road usually with people pulled over and state troopers hide at either end of the spillway.

My dad had never had a speeding ticket in his life. One day we were headed to Leeville to fish and I was following him in my truck. He must have told me 40 times before and during the trip to NOT SPEED when we got in Golden Meadow. So we finally get into Golden Meadow and he immediately gets pulled over and given a speeding ticket for like 4 miles over the limit. His first only only one to this day

Brusly and the foot of the on ramp to the new bridge. Cops sit at the on ramp when traffic is backed up so they can give inspection sticker and seat belt tickets.

It's Dodson is what I was thinking.

The poster above you said it.

Guaranteed ticket for 2mph over the limit everytime.

Golden Meadow. And they don't just settle for speed. They'll get you for staying in the left lane too long, failure to signal, etc.

this is the worst.
they will write a speeding ticket for 1 mph over
and they are ALWAYS there waiting

Can't believe I left out woodworth in the OP considering I live in Alexandria.. they're the worst. Mcnary is pretty bad too.

being from Alex... you should also know about that curve on I-49 heading into the city right by the Hwy 71 exit

that's not far behind where the speed limit drops from 75 to 60 on I-49

LSP is ALWAYS there trying to catch people who haven't slowed from 75 (or 80... or 85) heading into Alex.

Hwy 21 through Sun, LA in North St Tammany. Very little there, yet the speed limit dips all the way to 35MPH. Pretty sure tickets there NEVER get fixed.

I got busted here once. I wasn't paying attention when the speed limit dropped from 65 to 45. Guy was sitting at the bottom of the bridge.

Wasn't there a law passed to crack down on speed traps a while back? Something like any ticket for 10MPH or less over the limit and the funds go to the state. Are they just writing them out of spite now?
