From this view it literally feels like you're on the outside looking into a concrete jungle.

Nashville is becoming unrecognizable from what it was even five years ago.

One I haven’t seen mentioned in here - Portland
Glad you mentioned that one. I was in portland in November for the NAIA cross country nationals (women's team I help coach qualified) and was very underwhelmed. Loved the city but the skyline left a lot to be desired.

for my underrated consideration ill present Wichita (biased because I live here)

but there's some interesting looking buildings and nothing that stands out as out of place in terms of size.

Also this guy (Keeper of the Plains) tucked away behind it all.

Take the incline up to Mt Washington and take in the sights at one of the resturants over looking the city

Did this exact thing a few months ago. The view from my table.

Jacksonville is pretty meh for a city of its size.

Looks even more meh without the sleiman slum, aka the landing.

Chicago definitely puts Los Angeles to shame.

you like it up there? what’s it like compared to a dallas?

I moved up from Dallas six years ago and I much prefer the PNW. The city is surrounded by mountains and water, it never gets particularly hot or cold, and there’s amazing skiing and hiking within an hour of the city. I like that the populace is politically engaged (even if they tend to be further to the left of me, and I’m pretty liberal), but victim culture and wokeness runs amok (again, spoken by a liberal).

There’s tons to love, and it suits me much better than Dallas ever did.

Bonus: If you want to, post a really under the radar skyline you would consider good for a city too small for the thread criteria. For instance, I’ve always thought Little Rock, AR was impressive for a city as small as it is.
