Dude, San Jose was who I specifically mentioned as the worst in my OP, San Antonio was an honorable mention. And I agreed with the poster that said Phoenix. Both of those cities have their respective airports to blame for their height restrictions though which SA does not.

I wouldn’t want to live in any big city permanently, but being from middle of no where Mississippi, I was in shock flying into Seattle for the first time.

I live in the middle of nowhere, because I would never live in the city. But I admire looking at the skylines when I travel, so I started a thread on it. But you were so clever you realized you could make an unrelated comment to show your independence and rebellious spirit. So keep doing you, man.

Agree. Very pretty at night but not a huge downtown.
After Bill Gates and Jeff Vinik finish their Water Street development, the skyline will look very different.

Memphis ends at the river. The Arkansas side of Memphis doesn't exist because nobody lives there. So there's an entire 180 degrees of an unused circle, the metro expands east and south.
Skylines are overrated to me anyway. I love how, outside of downtown, Memphis never looks like anything other than a town, not a city, in a forest.

Midtown Memphis is great. I went to a wedding years ago at the Brooks art museum. It’s beautiful
