Outside of Panama and Iraq which were highly situational, it would be an old jail in Orangeburg SC that has since been replaced. I had to prep a client for trial and spent about 5 days in what was basically a holding cell during July. There was no A/C and no air movement in the room. There was also a smell I couldn't figure out like sewage with undertones of cooking cabbage with just a hint of acetone. As the heat built through the day the small just overwhelmed your brain where most smells get to the point you don't notice them anymore it just kept building.
After the first day, I went in shorts and a T-shirt and even then the heat was miserable.
The kicker here is that jail cell was the nicest part of Orangeburg.

New-build real estate in that ZIP code is actually pretty pricey now.

Some Ravens, Arctic Foxes (inbred), and an occasional seal or seal lion.

I had to spend two weeks in Aspen, Colorado.
There is no damn McDonalds in Aspen, Colorado.
Suffice it to say, I think my "Worst place you’ve had to go for work" story makes every other weak arse "Worst place you’ve had to go for work" story in this thread pale in comparison.

An aircraft carrier in the Persian Gulf mid-summer isn't the most pleasant environment. Especially with flight ops 24/7, it's hot as frick and the food sucks. Groundhog Station.
