Burned my index, middle and ring finger on the bottom of a hot pot on Christmas Day cooking about 10 years ago. Second worst was an abdominal pain after eating about 4 dozen raw oysters and drinking Busch beer all night. Also on Christmas a couple years later. Merry fricking Christmas to me.

I’ve had kidney stones, broken ribs, and abscess teeth, but I think the most painful thing I have experienced was a displaced sacroiliac joint and the associated muscle spasms that came with it. The ER couldn’t give me enough Dilaudid to ease it. Until it was put back in place I wondered if I would ever be able to move again.

Fractured my wrist and ruptured a disc in my back that pinched my ciatic nerve. Both sucked but the ruptured disc had me in tears.

Of Course, I was born prematurely and spent my first 6-7 months in NICU. I have had many surgeries, too many to count, but it doesn't matter. Worst Pain?
1. Kidney Stone while I was in college. Hurt like a ^$#$%%#.
2. Torn Achilles playing basketball - I heard it pop, waited about 5 seconds, and then came the pain. Horrible.
3. Ruptured appendix - Many complications - several surgeries and a 3 1/2 month hospital stay. Sweet.
4. Worst of all - I was in a car wreck when I was seven when we were T-boned on my side. Broke my hip, had severe internal injuries, and tore all the skin of my left side. I was still conscious when they had to debride the wound and they put a chest tube in. I tried to scream but nothing came out. I was ready to go at that point. I had two or three dozen surgeries (mostly in the abdomen) and an eight month stay in ICU (ten months total for the hospital stay - many issues along the way). Apparently, I was "agitated" and they used restraints on me the entire time in ICU (with seclusion). I was tube fed for a year and a half, and had an ostomy, which has since been reversed.
However, nothing was worse than the emotional pain of thinking your family has abandoned you, because you never saw them in ICU. Every procedure was painful, and it f***ed me up for a long time emotionally and mentally. I still get nightmares from time to time. I think the hospital did me wrong, but what can I prove? Also, one person died as a result of the accident; two made it out unscathed. That survivor's guilt was no joke.

Abscessed front tooth.
I see why folks who suffer great pain end it all.I told the dentist to keep the needle coming.
Tendinitis in the elbows is no picnic either.

Torn pectoral and broken ribs. Two separate incidents. Both hurt pretty good

I passed a kidney stone while at physical therapy for my herniated disc. The stone made me move and the movement was paralyzing. I was fricked.

I got a dry socket when I had my wisdom teeth taken out. I heard abscessed teeth are even worse. Damn.

I blew out a disk in my spine. Hurt bad, but it wasn't me "put me in the hospital" bad. I was in Hot Springs playing golf. Happened on the course with friends. My girlfriend drove me home to Shreveport, tucked me in and left. In the middle of my sleep it suddenly felt like a red hot ice pick, 12" long had suddenly been shoved up my spine. Any movement I made it made it worse and I screamed bloody murder, but nobody was around to hear it. It took me over an hour, sweating my arse off in pain, to work my way to the side of the bed so that I could knock myself off the bed and the phone off the bedside table. When I hit the floor I blacked out for maybe a half hour, the pain was so bad. Once I got my senses back, it took me another excruciating hour to work myself to the phone and get it where I could dial 9-1-1. I don't even remember what I said. I passed out from the pain. Next thing I remember was EMTs were working on me. Fireman had to break into my house. When they moved me to the gurney I passed out from the pain and woke up at the hospital, where all I remember is a doctor asking me what happened. I told him that I threw my back out. He put me on a morphine drip and the pain went away. The next day I had an MRI, and found out a disk had been blown out and was pushing up hard against nerves. I had surgery to clear it up and fuse my vertebrae together.
At the time, I was down to a 2 handicap. Never got back to it. I had to change my whole swing. I had a double digit handicap after that and still to this day have to take muscle relaxers before I can swing a club.

Passed my 47th kidney stone last week
I have had 2 and they were about 12 years apart. I simply cannot imagine 5 or 6 much less 47. Holy mother of god.

L4 disk. Way pass needing a shot to relive the pain now that I am in. Had it to the point I cried like a baby laying on the ER room floor at OLOL for a hour+. Had to craw on the floor/ground just to get to the car and the wife had to pick me off the ground.

I have had a hyperextended knee, a dislocated knee, a couple concussions, torsion(blown nut), but the worst was kidney stones - hands down.
