Pancreatitis /thread

I was 17 and kamikazes were $.25 cents at Mako’s. I went in with 20 bucks. I woke up at 0700 screaming in pain begging to be taken to the hospital. HORRIBLE !

Had bones ripped out of my legs, got nerve damage, and the pain was so bad they ended up having the kill the nerve causing the pain to where I can’t feel the skin on the bottom half of the top of my right leg and all of the top of the skin of my right foot. It’s not like Mr Deeds where you could put a fire stoker into it since I can still feel the bones, but I couldn’t feel a feather on my skin or the wind blowing it. But that was 4 months of misery where I couldn’t walk.

Worst bodily injury I’ve had was a broke wrist and that was child's play compared to being stung by a Portuguese man of war while surfing.

1. Tonsillectomy at 20 years old.

I’ve broken my left arm, four fingers, my nose, and two ribs. I’ve torn my ACL.

Nothing like the Tonsillectomy.

Second place would be my first sneeze after breaking the two ribs.

Passed my 47th kidney stone last week.

Pain is an old friend: 3 ACLs, total knee replacement, dead gall bladder removed via open surgery, crushed ring finger in door needed amputation, Liz Franc fracture, severe ear infection, three broken ribs in a fall and, oh yeah, grenade shrapnel burns like hell.

What do you people do? I’ve played sports my entire life and the worst thing I’ve had is jamming my finger playing basketball or sprained ligaments from someone falling on my leg.

Ouch. I had a blood clot in my calf after the first one. I thought it was a sore muscle but the pain wouldn’t go away.. they were both just horrible experiences.

Appendicitis. It had gotten to the size of a pickle. Had to have emergency surgery.

Cut the tip of my right ring finger off about half way down the nail.

My sister was an ER nurse at the time and I was leaving town so she used the glue and other stuff she had in her scrubs to fix it (basically the same thing the Hospital would do), she did not have any pain medicine.

That MF'er throbbed for three days, worse than any bad tooth ache.

I’m dealing with some cracked ribs right now.

Tried to save a boat that had come lose from the cleat, over-extended and fell rib first onto the piling that was supporting the sea wall. That was Tuesday.

Felt a little better yesterday(with some liquid courage), so went joy riding in a Baja with some friends.

Bad fricking idea.

Gall-bladder infection and emergency surgery. Worst pain ever.

Some of y’all have been through hell.

Kidney stones- I was alone at the hunting camp without cell service. I felt it first in the shower, and I spun around thinking someone stabbed me in the back.
Split open the tip of my pointer finger, and it took 9 stitches. Luckily I was decently drunk, so I didn’t feel it that much. Hurt pretty bad after I sobered up and for the next couple days.
I got stung by a cow killer when I was about 9. It felt like my finger was breaking off.

I was allergic to the local pain medication, and they shoved a needle into my lung for a last ditch attempt to drain it of fluids while I was in a cat scan machine. It was so painful I went into shock, and almost died.

Had braces..and then got a broken tooth; so, had too have the braces taken off. The lady scraping the dental glue off decided to use the air nozzle to blow off the scraped off glue...that cold air hit that exposed nerve and instantly came out of that chair..
