Yes.
She's term limited and the election to replace her is this fall. One of the 2 leading candidates in that race is a councilman who previously resigned his seat in disgrace after being busted in a federal bribery investigation. Spent a few years in jail for it, then got elected back to the city council again a few years ago and now is running for mayor.
NOLA gets what it deserves.
