I've lived in Louisiana all of my life and have very deep roots in the Florida Parishes, and can say pretty much all of them.

I’ve never lived in Alexandria, but I worked there for a few months and that was enough for me.
Obviously there are shittier small towns in Louisiana, but if we’re only referring to “larger” Louisiana cities (top 10 or so), it’s the worst.

Yep! Spent 3 months there this Fall. It sucked. The restaurants are horrible too! The fact Canes always has a line to the street says all that needs to be said.
The Wildwoods Pizza is pretty good though.

New Orleans is the only place in Louisiana, other than Madisonville, I would even think about living. Baton Rouge has all of the same shite that sucks about New Orleans and absolutely zero of the redeeming qualities New Orleans has to make all of the shitty things about it even remotely worth putting up with.

I got my first ticket passing through there the day I moved to college. I thought something didn’t seem right about it but I didn’t fight it.
A while later a news story came up that the same frick that pulled me over was arrested for some dirty shite in office.
We played them in football my junior year and keep in mind we played in some shady arse places. Still the only game we needed to have police escort us from the locker room to the bus to make sure nothing went down and honestly if it hadn’t been for them I’m not sure something wouldn’t have happened. There was a whole heard of people out there around the bus yelling shite at us.
