Worked from home most of last week because I had a cough.
Worked from home yesterday, in the office today. Might work from home tomorrow.
Then again I only live five minutes from my office.

Packed up 2 of my 3 monitors, docking station and headset on Monday. Will be working remotely from my man cave/outdoor kitchen/Covid Cabin for 2 weeks at a minimum....I love the commute....May take a bit but I could get used to this!

I feel sorry for our help desk though. They've already gotten multiple requests to have a person show up in person at the user's home to fix a "remote internet problem."

I bet we are getting a lot of funny calls as well. We probably have 500 additional people working from home, many of whom aren't very technical.

Checking in. Feels weird since most of my work is hands on experiments at the office. Have enough data and reporting to work on for the rest of the week and likely next week to keep me busy.
Biggest issue is i cant schedule a gotomeeting because everyone else is also working from home...

That's a bit of a stretch. Most were written while sitting idly in traffic because some jack-wagon* couldn't be bothered to stop texting long enough to avoid an accident.
*derived from the original Olde English phrase jacking-the-wagon, which referred to a belief that constantly stopping your wagon to masturbate the mule pulling it would make the mule less stubborn and thus willing to pull the wagon farther and faster. #TIL

I've done briefly, for a week or 2 when my dog had surgeries and I wanted to stay close to her as she recovered.
A big difference between home and the office: my coffee at home is jet-fuel compared to the office coffee.
What was NOT affected by this plague: my project timelines and deadlines. Assholes and elbows, that's it.

I travel a lot for work, but when not on a roadie, working from home is the norm.
A noon VTC today means I'll actually have to SS&S and look presentable. From the waist up at least.

I could easily get used to it(I'm a homebody anyway) but the kids being here really puts a damper on things. I've retreated to the office upstairs and sent them to the basement to play video games.
