A girlfriend of a year and I got sick of each others shite at the same time and broke up. I fell and injured myself trying to save a dog and she showed zero fux. Realized she was incapable of empathy for anyone. She got got fed up with me because I didn't vote for Hillary.

There may be a grain of truth in this. It's almost as if some women resent the suffering of others because it diverts attention from them and deprives them of their cherished thorny crown of martyrdom. Not all women are that way, however.
